Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP announces new firm partner
Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP Partners Dave Mackowiak and Kevin Wystup are pleased to announce the hiring of a new firm partner, Denise D. Veloski, CPA.
Veloski will be involved in many different areas of the firm, including the oversight of governmental and not-for-profit audit engagements, individual and corporate income tax preparation, general business consulting, and compilation and review of financial statements. She is also a qualified peer reviewer of other certified public accounting firms in accordance with the standards set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Before joining Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP, Veloski was a shareholder in a local, regional CPA firm. She also did some work in the private sector. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Fredonia, where she graduated cum laude. She also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
Veloski is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the NYS Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the NYS Association of School Business Officials. She is active in her community, serving as treasurer for her church, the First Presbyterian Church of Gowanda, and as past treasurer for the Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce.
